Gaia Energy Rooftop
GAIA ENERGY ROOFTOP
Gaia Energy Rooftop is developing a pipeline of more than 150 MWp across Morocco.
Gaia Energy Rooftop develops photovoltaic power plants within the framework of Law 13-09 on the production of electricity from renewable sources, the output of which is intended for the customer’s own use.
Gaia Energy Rooftop supports its customers throughout the entire value chain of renewable energy projects, providing a turnkey solution, from carrying out the necessary expert studies in full compliance with international standards, to the construction and commissioning of the park, as well as monitoring the operation and maintenance of the power plant throughout its lifetime. Our efforts are also aimed at clarifying and simplifying legal processes.
Gaia Energy Rooftop offers these energy services in the form of the purchase and sale of green electricity from renewable energy sources.
Gaia Energy Rooftop is present in onshore areas through its subsidiary Gaia Project, and in all offshore zones through its newly-formed subsidiary Gaia Energy Solutions.

Social Concerns
Gaia Energy’s support for green and sustainable initiatives aligns with and strengthens Morocco’s strategy to incentivize industrial firms to transition more towards renewable energies. The objective is to attain a 50% integration of renewable energy by 2050.
Creating local jobs
The installation, upkeep, and supervision of solar panels demand a skilled workforce. Consequently, the implementation of solar panels has the potential to generate employment opportunities at the local level within the renewable energy sector.
Local community involvement
Involving the local community in solar energy projects can be achieved through initiatives like solar energy awareness programs, residential solar installations, or energy-sharing programs.
Positive corporate image
Embracing clean energy sources, like solar power, has the potential to enhance the plant’s and the company’s reputation by showcasing a dedication to sustainability and environmental responsibility.
Participation in technological advances
The installation of solar technologies can position the industry as a stakeholder in technological advances and sustainable trends.
Training and qualifications
The introduction of solar technologies may require a skilled workforce. This can lead to training and skills development programs for local workers.
The PPA is a legal contract between a green electricity producer and a consumer for a fixed period of between 12 and 20 years.
The reduction in electricity bills offered by GAIA RoofTop varies according to consumption profile and technical solutions.
